Overview

There are many reasons our customers choose to opt out of the EQR process. First and foremost, is the requirement for speed of action to achieve the desired result. In every case, we work closely with our clients to understand the requirements and concerns they may have, and to support them through the process with the right advice and expertise.

Benefits

Opting out of the EQR process with us is straightforward and hassle free. In many cases, we are able to provide a deferred payment plan option that ensures that our clients don’t get saddled with the bill while waiting to be reimbursed by EQC. We are also able to identify any additional earthquake damage that may not have been quoted for. In most cases, this can then be added to the original scope of works, for coverage by EQC.

Process and Deliverables

We make the EQR opt out process simple by providing well balanced and timely advice and support. Our detailed, step by step process includes:

  • A site visit and detailed cost estimate following the EQC scope of works
  • Identification and pricing of additional unidentified damage elements
  • Preparing and filing opt out documentation
  • Facilitation of deferred payment options prior to client reimbursement by EQC
